Why we do what we do

Elemental Disc Golf was created to bring disc golf back to its roots a little, after the Covid-19 Boom Pushed many players (and retailers) into becoming ultra competitive, and forgetting why many of us started to play the sport in the first place.

      I was in the lake retrieving discs for people at our local course the other day, and over half people I saw, I  didn't recognize from our local leagues and tournaments.

    The fact of the matter is, In our area, disc golf isn't this super established sport with the huge following that is in some areas where I've played.

And at the end of the day...

  We cannot grow the Sport locally in the area with $75 C/B-Tier Tournaments...where you get a bunch of discs you will probably never throw...while having your face melted off in the summer heat in Georgia

     But... tell those same people... hey, come out Saturday afternoon... $2-3 Entry fee (that goes to buy discs for local kids), and you have a chance to win a cool signature Series disc... or a birdie bag.. etc...And these casual players will be much more likely to come out, play more, and socialize more. And therefore grow the Sport.

    Yes, rated leagues and tournaments are important in a particular area, but to truly grow the sport you have to reach out to all players, regardless of skill level. That is where Elemental DG looks to fill in the gap. By providing smaller Non-Sanctioned events... all the while providing both new, as well as more experienced players the chance to try brands they haven't thrown (or even heard of) before... to find their new favorite disc.
